CLIENT PROFILE WASSMER STUDIOS (USA)
Wassmer Studios produces architectural details from cast limestone, plaster and natural stone that combine classic design and unmatched detail with precise engineering and premier materials. Their products, whether from their extensive catalog or for a custom project, find their way into ultra high-end single family homes and hospitality locales including hotels, casinos and country clubs. When it comes to quality, their clients leave no room for compromise. Faithfully reproducing the exquisite detail that has become their hallmark is something the company takes great pride in.
Despite their success, the folks at Wassmer wanted more. They wanted to grow their capacity for taking on custom projects and shorten lead times for delivering any kind of project. The challenge was to find these process improvements while still maintaining the quality and detail they had built their name on. While they recognized that traditional mold making processes had their place, they knew that they weren't necessarily a fit for a business looking to evolve beyond the status quo. FROG3D™ provided the solution they were looking for.
Wassmer Studios now uses the FROG3D™ foam carving system as the foundation for their production processes, which has let them completely overhaul how they make molds. Instead of tedious hand carving, they now have an automated means of creating intricate and detailed molds that translate into stunning architectural products. Their products have the same level of quality and craftsmanship as before, but the processes required to get there are much more efficient. They're able to say yes to more custom projects and promise shorter lead times to their customers.

FROG3D™ APPLICATIONS THEMED ENVIRONMENTS
We love to take them in. Whether it's at a theme park, casino, resort or shopping mall, themed environments capture attention and imagination and set the mood for fun. But in the past, creating them hasn't been nearly as fun.
The production of themed environments has always been a labor of love. Without the benefits of technology, hand carving has been the order of the day, creating processes that leave much to be desired. Untold hours are required to create large scale projects, and in a world of licensed characters, architectural reproduction and artistic interpretation, there's little room for error or inaccuracy. Not surprisingly, the craft of creating themed environments has become highly specialized, with a select few companies creating top notch work. The times, however, are changing.
Streamline Automation's FROG3D™ foam carving system brings automation to theming production and it's bringing the quality of themed environments to all-time highs. The process for creating themed pieces with FROG3D™ is all about using technology to boost efficiency and productivity, but it's also about maximizing creativity and artistry. FROG3D™ eliminates the most tedious and time-consuming parts of the carving process, freeing up artists' time to focus on the creative finishing elements of the work. With this combination of art and technology, FROG3D™ opens doors for those looking to get into theming, and it provides a path to more creativity for those already plying the theming trade.

PRODUCT PROFILE FROGWARE™ SOFTWARE UPDATES
An integral part of the FROG3D™ system, the FROGWare™ suite of software provides the scanning, editing and tool path functionality needed to accurately model designs and prepare them for production. Recent updates to FROGWare™ have made it an even more powerful tool for 3D design. The most recent upgrades and enhancements include ...
- 3D PDF creator - When looking for customer approval on a 3D project, you no longer have to email screenshots from multiple angles of your model. You can now save accurate and rotatable 3D PDFs of your design for realistic review and approval.
- Embossing tool - With this new tool you can take a 3D model and reduce it to any height. The prominent details and illusion of depth are maintained from the original model. This is a perfect application for low relief background images for signage.
- Working in the 3D view - With less buttons to toggle through, users can work directly in the 3D view. Users can select vectors, highlight their chosen 2D shapes and colors and then use the shape editor. 3D modeling has never been easier.
- Customizable sculpting tools - For advanced design purposes, users can now create their own sculpting brushes. This can be done by importing preferred textures or using any relief layer as a template to get the exact look you're looking for.
FROGScan™ software has also been enhanced to improve its flexibility. Added functionality not only reduces file sizes, but a new export option allows for the export of OBJ files (a universally accepted format for representing 3D geometry). This creates new efficiencies for users and opens up a range of new applications.
